Nympha - Church Host in Laodicea

Mentioned only in Colossians, Nympha or Nymphas is somewhat up for debate as to this person's gender. Nympha means "bride" and Nymphas means "bridegroom". The mention in Scripture refers to where the early Christian church met, which was in Nympha(s)'s house in Laodicea. And since the church is known as the Bride of Christ, we've chosen to stick with the female gender since no other information seems to be available.
