Azaziah - Father of Hoshea (an Ephraimite Chief)

When David named the twelve tribal chiefs who would lead Israel under his late-life reorganization, the chief over Ephraim was Hoshea, the son of Azaziah. Azaziah himself doesn't appear anywhere else in Scripture — he's named in 1 Chronicles 27:20 as the father whose line carried the chief role for the largest tribe of the future Northern Kingdom.
